My friend Maria hosted her annual Easter Egg Hunt and I loved helping her get things ready for the party. We went to our trusty stores like Target, Publix, the Dollar store and Costco to get eveything we needed for the party. This year she hosted around 15 adults and 15 children and we thought it would be great to do a simple easy menu and a fun activity to keep the kids busy and occupied!
Target had such cute things for decoration and also for our Easter basket party favor. Maria added a cute basket with bunny ears and some fun bits and bobs along with yummy treats for all the kids!
Since the party started at 4pm we thought it would be a good idea to serve dinner. So for the adults Maria prepared a smoked salmon platter and two salads from Costco and also mini quiche! For the kids we served mini pizzas and chicken tenders.
For dessert, we got two-bite-cupcakes and cookies from Publix that are a favorite here in South Florida. They were gobbled up quite quickly by both the children and the adults! Ha! We served juice boxes for the kids and some Blanc de Blancs Champagne for the adults.
For the craft, we got these perfect mini painting kits from the Dollar store and we were so impressed how much the kids enjoyed this. They actually sat down and quietyly painted! We’ve got the pictures to prove it!
So after the painting, we had the kids wait behind a hedge (lol) so we could hide the easter eggs! They were soooo patient but once we let them go, they were running out like maniacs!
I think everyone had a great time and frankly, everyone was on cloud 9 after consuming all that candy! I had to leave early since little Armaan was uber tired since he missed his nap! Poor guy was a hot mess by the end. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful easter and get to spend quality time with you littles! Happy hunting!
